Brief info

Coach Ashlin “Ash” Crabtree brings a steady presence, exceptional basketball IQ, and a servant-hearted leadership style to her role as a coach within the Team Kidd True program. A product of the True Texas system and a member of the program’s first graduating class (2023), Ash truly embodies what it means to grow up True and now pours back into the athletes following behind her.

Ash is known for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and organization, paired with a sharp understanding of the game. Her ability to communicate clearly, teach detail, and see the floor at a high level makes her a trusted and effective coach. Her faith is evident in both her leadership and the way she invests in others, making her a strong role model for young athletes.

Ashlin is currently a collegiate player at Vanguard University, where she has established herself as one of the top perimeter shooters in the PacWest Conference.

Ash graduated from Argyle High School, where she was a three-year varsity player and helped lead the Argyle Eagles to the Texas State Tournament during her junior season.

In addition to her collegiate playing career, Ash coaches, trains, and gives back to the True Texas / Team Kidd Texas community during the summer months. She brings a calm confidence, high standards, and genuine care to every gym she steps into, making her an impactful teacher of the game and an example for athletes striving to grow as players and people.
