Head Coach
Brief info

Jackie holds a full-time coaching position at Coram Deo Academy. She is the head coach for the varsity, JV, and 7th/8th teams. Both as a player and a coach, Jackie is known for bringing excellence to the court.

As a student at Flower Mound High School, Jackie dominated in the position of shooting guard and point guard. She was a 4-year varsity starter, 4-year team MVP and captain, and 3-year recipient of all-district honors. She was also repeatedly named the district’s player of the week. Jackie played AAU for Team Texas and Texas Freedom, during which time she competed and placed in top teams every summer at nationals.

“I remember being seven years old and going to my older sister’s first AAU game. I was instantly captivated and knew that basketball was the sport I wanted to invest my time in. I loved the pace, the strategy, the skill, the intensity, the camaraderie. I love playing the game, but even more so I’ve always enjoyed being a student of the game.”

Jackie attended college at the University of Oklahoma where she met her husband, Chris. After graduating with a degree in Human Relations and getting married, Jackie went on to study Biblical Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. In the years that followed, she and her husband had four children—Luke (11), Hadley (9) Jacob (8) Georgia (6)—and invested time in their church community. Jackie and Chris served as small group leaders for students and spent five years faithfully leading a church home group. They completed a year-long theological training program at The Village Church, and have used this knowledge to pour wisdom and teaching into those around them. Jackie has also used this time to instill a love for basketball in her own children Luke (2027) and Jacob (TTH 2030) as well as Hadley (TTH 2029) and Georgia (TTH 2032) who she has coached for five years. When she’s not on the court or in the gym, Jackie and her family love being with their church community, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

“I’m passionate about instilling in players a love for the game of basketball, teaching them fundamentally sound skills, and building character through the ebbs and flows of the game. I believe it’s important our student athletes learn determination, perseverance, sacrifice, and work ethic that will stay with them well past the court. If there is a task at hand, do it with excellence, do it with heart. No deposit, no return.”
