Brief info
Ro Vasquez is originally from McKinney, Texas, where she started her athletic career with the Texas Home Educators Sports Association. After graduating high school in 2013, she signed with Texas State, where she played basketball for a season before transferring to Gulf Coast State College (JUCO) and eventually Louisiana Tech.
After receiving her Masters in Business from Midwestern State, Ro worked for TCA (Addison) for two years. She was the Head Coach for the 8th grade girls’ basketball team, and later the Junior Varsity Head Coach and Varsity Assistant. Today, she is the Head Coach for Shelton Middle School’s boys’ basketball teams, and the Strength and Conditioning Assistant for Shelton’s Upper School athletes.
Coach Ro values the relationships she has with her athletes, their parents, and fellow coaches, and is deeply grateful for the second-to-none community she has found through coaching.
